Edit My Paper is pleased to announce that we will be awarding scholarships to three successful students who have proven their creative writing and critical thinking abilities. We aim to recognize those students who are not only great orators, but excellent at writing and proofreading, skills that we believe are integral to students’ success.


Applicants must be enrolled at an accredited high school, college or university in either North America or Europe. Students may be required to provide proof that they meet the aforementioned requirements. Please note that applicants do not need to be a citizen of the country in which their academic institution is located.

How to Apply

Applicants must write an essay of between 500 and 1000 words on the following topic: Is access to the internet a fundamental human right? Please take special care to proofread your entry since we are a global editing and proofreading service that values high quality, well-polished writing.

Please submit your essay in .docx or .doc format to us via along with your first and last name, country of residence, academic institution, and mailing address. The deadline to enter via email is December 30, 2015 at 12:00AM EST. All successful applicants will be announced on January 30, 2016 and will be contacted via email prior to January 25, 2016 in order to confirm their acceptance of the scholarship terms, prior to releasing any personal information.

Essays will be judged on:

  • Creativity
  • Depth of thought
  • Spelling and grammar

The prizes

  • Three prizes will be awarded. The top high school entry will receive an award of $250. The top university and college student entries will receive awards of $500 to $1000 (USD). The essays, first names and countries of residence of successful applicants will be revealed on our website.
